The new Clynn visitor chair from Dauphin is more than just a functional seating solution: it was designed for collaborative work environments where communication, teamwork, and flexible use take center stage. With its understated design, noticeable comfort, and versatile applications, Clynn supports both productive meetings and informal get-togethers, creating an atmosphere where people enjoy coming together.

With Clynn, Dauphin is launching a visitor chair designed specifically to meet the demands of modern work and communication spaces. It is available as a four-legged model or cantilever chair and can be configured with either a short or high backrest, as well as in mesh or fully upholstered versions. This allows the chair to be adapted to a variety of usage scenarios and room types – such as conference areas, project zones, or waiting areas.

In terms of design, Clynn embraces a clear, minimalist aesthetic. Soft lines and balanced proportions give the chair a calm and unobtrusive presence in any space. Depending on the version, chrome or black frames as well as various upholstery fabrics and color schemes highlight different styles – from functional to home-like. The conference chair is a true all-rounder: stackable, flexible, and load-bearing up to 130 kg, it can be easily stored and effortlessly used for new situations.

Designer Jessica Engelhardt had a clear vision when developing this versatile contract chair: “The goal was above all to make good seating accessible to many people. The mission was clear: high comfort combined with a calm, timeless design that blends effortlessly into any environment.”

Sustainability also plays a key role: up to 64% of the materials used come from renewable or recycled sources, and depending on the model, Clynn is up to 84% recyclable. With the upholstery fabric Sealife, the visitor chair offers a version made from 100% SEAQUAL® YARN, a recycled polyester derived partly from ocean plastic. Through the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, the Dauphin HumanDesign Group actively supports the cleaning of the oceans.
